MediaTek launches 7nm Dimensity 700 5G SoC chipset in India.
Taiwan’s semiconductor manufacturing giant MediaTek has launched a new mobile processor in its Annual Conference. Dimensity 700 5G SoC is the latest mobile processor from MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity Processor Family.
Dimensity 700 5G SoC Ultra-Fast Mobile Processor
This new processor is a 5G mobile chipset of the Dimensity family. Talking about the latest chipset specifications, Media-Tech has a 7 nm octa-core chipset, which has 2 + 6 CPU cores. MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G Soc chipset has 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz. Also, six Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 2.0GHz speed. The GPU of this chipset is Mali-G57 MC2 which is clocked at 950MHz.
MediaTek’s latest chipset comes with 5G-CA (2CC) support which comes with dual 5G SIM (Dual SIM dual standby) support. This chipset also comes with SA and NSA modes. Along with this, MediaTek 5G comes with ultrasafe backing. Talking about other features, it has introduced with UFS 2.2, 2 – lane storage, refresh rate up to 90Hz, resolution up to 2520 x 1080, 64MP camera, real-time bouquet in portrait preview, night shop enhancement support. Also, this chipset has multiple voice assistant support, dual-frequency GPS support and, India’s NavIC support, and Bluetooth 5.1 support.
Realme is the first smartphone manufacturer in India that will feature MediaTek Dimensity 700 5g SoC in its phone.
This processor is capable of supporting up to 64 MP Multi-Camera design.
This processor is 28-30 percent more power-efficient than an 8 nm processor. Improved quality SoC has extended battery life.
MediaTek says that after launching the new chipset, the smartphone company will launch the 5G smartphone at a lower price. It is believed that with this MediaTek chipset, the cost of 5G smartphones can be $ 250 (about 18 thousand rupees). Media Tech says that it will ship around 50 crores 5G chipsets by the year 2021. Chinese smartphone companies like Oppo, Redmi, Vivo, Huawei, and ZTE launched their mid-range 5G smartphones with MediaTek chipsets.
